Liver & Oat Cookies


250gms quick oats ( readybreak)

90g dry milk

90g wheatgerm (or oats)

226g beef or chicken liver

90ml sunflower oil

4 eggs

Handful of cheddar cheese


Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl

Puree the liver in a food processor and add to the dry ingredients.

Add the oil and eggs. 

Mix to a cookie-dough consistency.

Spread the mixture onto a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 175c/350F gas mark 4 for 15 to 20 mins or until the cookies are firm to touch.

Slice into cubes when cool
